Terry M. West
Terry has been working on both print and film horror productions for years.
He has appeared in the critically praised Chanting Monks Press horror
magazine Agony In Black, directed several late night cable faves (including
the sexy Lord of the G-Strings) but truly broke onto the horror film scene
with his early indy: Blood For The Muse. A reworked version of Blood For The
Muse is forthcoming, with additional scenes, a totally new score, extensive
behind-the-scenes material and more. Look for Blood For The Muse: Omega this
fall, available only through Pleasant Storm Entertainment
(http://www.pleasantstorm.com)
More recently, Terry's full-length horror feature, Flesh For The Beast,
garnered good reviews and he has begun working on a new, horror anthology
film entitled: Demons Of Flesh. Terry has worked both in front and behind
the camera, and portrays the male lead in The Bunker, the sadistic kidnapper
and serial murderer who abducts Julia Jennings, Congressman Robert Jennings'
daughter. Terry is also currently working on the feature film Hell on Earth
for HorrorBiz Films. |
Saskia
Gonzalez
Newcomer Saskia Gonzalez stars as Julia in her first featured role. The actress
has played in a number of Miami stage productions, and has a scream that director
Joseph M. Monks recently told Fangoria Magazine, "...is still shaking
the tripod and camera." Monks expects horror film fans to
see, "...a breakout performance," from Saskia when The Bunker is released, noting
that, "She has all the makings of an instant scream-queen, who can go far beyond
that in future films."

Ron Sheppard
Veteran New York actor Ron Sheppard portrays hard-nosed congressman Robert Jennings, a New York state representative who's just announced his bid for reelection when Julia, his teenage daughter, runs away. Knowing how a scandal might hamper his campaign, Jennings seeks to get his daughter back as quickly and quietly as possible, no matter what the cost. The politician will do anything to avoid a scandal, including enlisting the help of some expensive, private investigators with a penchant for finding people. People who don't want to be found. |
Teresa Vicario
Teresa
Vicario is a veteran New York actress whose recent credits include
the lead in the motion picture The Magic Flute and starring in
HorrorBiz
Films' soon-to-be-released feature, Hell on Earth (co-starring
Terry Shane).
Teresa has also appeared on the wildly successful NBC television
show Law& Order, in the award winning film "Treading Water" (a
performance for which
she took Best Actress honors at the Brooklyn Film Festival), and
a long list
of other television, motion picture and stage credits.
Teresa plays Amelia Jennings, wife of Congressman
Robert Jennings, who is
trying to hold herself together while the police and others search
for her
missing, 16 year old daughter. The chances drop for finding a kidnapped
child substantially every day that child is missing, and as days
turn into
weeks, nobody is more aware of that than Amelia... |
Ed Polgardy
ED POLGARDY is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker who has dabbled in acting since 1975. He has appeared in numerous stage productions, including Born Yesterday (alongside Shelley Hack and LOST's Daniel Roebuck), and has been a day player in a number of popular genre films including MANIAC COP and legendary indy THE TOXIC AVENGER. Most recently, Ed produced Kenneth J. Hall's critically-acclaimed send up of '70's women-in-prison films, The Halfway House, and co-founded the comic book and movie production company CinemaGraphix.
Ed plays police sergeant Robert Cimino, one half of a take-charge team of beat cops who understand that any minute, things could get out of hand with the media prowling the streets, hungry for any information related to the Big Apple's No. 1 missing persons case.
|
Michael Gaglio
Familiar to genre fans, Mike's appeared in films such as Satanic, Death's Door, Ken Hall's The Halfway House, and many others. In The Bunker, he takes on the role of police Sgt. Ben Petersen, a New York City beat cop who's seen it all.
When Ben and his partner are called to investigate a grisly discovery in the alley behind a downtown Manhattan dance club, the savvy cop doesn't believe it'll be long before reporters catch wind of it. If what Ben suspects is true, a media feeding frenzy is about to begin.

Christie
Dishner
ChristieDishner has appeared in the gritty forensic detective series: CSI:Miami,
Transporter 2, the independent film The Wetherman's, several
television Commercials and a Sunshine Network promotional spot. With a
background in modeling that includes work for The Sports Authority and the
Girl Scouts, Christie has been working full-time in the career she has
devoted her heart and soul to for the past several years, saying of film: "I
am living my lifelong dream." The young actress has also worked behind the
scenes as a 2nd A.D. and can appreciate what filmmaking is like from both
behind and in front of the cameras.
In The Bunker, Christie has the role of Lucie, a young New York City
streetwalker who isn't much older than Julia but has spent enough time on
the streets to know how the game works. Even so, it isn't enough to help
protect Julia, the runaway she and a fellow prostitute have taken under
their wing, and her street smarts may prove insufficient to save even
herself. |
| TJ Glenn

Joe Ianniello
Frequent guest on the nationally-syndicated Opie & Anthony radio program, the Long Island restauranteur stepped into the role director Joseph M. Monks initially envisioned for horror-genre stalwart Tom Savini. Ianniello portrays Alan Breck, a questionable figure with mob ties who is willing to take on the private aspect of the search for Julia Jennings--but only for a price. For the silence that goes with the search, that price is steep. |
Audra Pezza
A newcomer to moviemaking and the film business, Audra does double-duty on The Bunker, serving as both director Joseph M. Monks' right hand during production and handling script supervisor responsibilities on location shooting in New Jersey, while also appearing on-screen in a cameo role as a lower East side New York streetwalker trying to show 16-year-old ingenue Jewel the ropes. The Bunker is Audra's first film. |

Eric Valdes

Eric Valdes is a well-documented sociopath who spends his time making bad jokes and good movies, sometimes both at once. He has spent years playing in Miami rock bands, and once slaughtered thirty people by wailing so hard on a guitar that their eardrums burst from their skulls and returned to gnaw out their entrails. True story. He has worn every hat on a film set, sometimes all at the same time, which has really improved his posture.
Eric is also the Earth Plane webmaster for the Daily Torment (www.dailytorment.com), a state-run newspaper based in the Fifth Circle of Hell. Eager to stick it to the man by abusing government funds, he uses the site’s space to promote his own music and film projects, so please pay a visit.
On The Bunker, Eric helmed the camera for a number of pickups and a substantial amount of interview footage shot for Inside The Bunker, the documentary chronicling the making of the film. Joe says the shots look great. |

Having an interest in both sound engineering and film scoring, Joe quickly became an integral part of The Bunker post-production team. Script Supervisor
Carmen Tomkin-Socorro
The Bunker's chief script supervisor, Carmen Tomkin-Socorro has traveled a circuitous route to film production. Born in Havana, Cuba to parents of Italian and British ancestry, her family moved to Spain when she was just four years old, living there for two years before moving to Miami and making the United States their permanent home.
After high school, Carmen attended college and earned a degree in radiographic science. The training she received enabled her to work at a major hospital providing her with valuable experience in the health care field. Carmen continued her education earning a second degree in mass communications, while also studying in California, where she became a script supervisor. She has continued in the field, working on numerous television commercials and feature films in Florida.
Carmen has written several screenplays in different genres including action adventure, romantic comedy and science fiction. Besides writing, Carmen enjoys concerts, plays, photography, horseback riding, and sports. She loves to travel, and enjoys learning about different cultures and their customs. She has seen some breath-taking places, such as Switzerland, and has visited some intriguing spots, like the pyramids in Mexico. Her favorite place though, happens to be right here at home, in the USA. She enjoys Country Music and travels to Tennessee often. She really enjoys going to the Grand Ole Opry and to the small intimate spots that showcase new talent in and around Nashville. Some of her friends find that amusing and call her "the Cuban redneck."
Her dreams are taking her life in a new direction. Her goals are to write and produce. Her hope is that someday she can look back and feel a sense of accomplishment in that. |
